Hello Everybody--We have arrived in Belleville, ON, between Toronto and Kingston on Lake Ontario. We have been through so many transitions in the past week. We are in a new state, country, home, and season. But we are all together again, which is a relief. All has gone according to plan so far. Amicus II is beautiful and ready to go, our composting toilet, radar, and diesel heater are installed, the girls are tickled with their quarter-berths, our Jeep, trailer, and cradle is back in Two Harbors, and our crewmember Tom arrived today. We hope to leave tomorrow, and head east for 70 miles before we are out in the big lake and able to go SW, towards the Welland canal and Lake Erie.
A quick note--if you want a shot at getting a personal email from us (we will check email whenever a wireless connection finds its way to us) you have to email us first! because I am checking email online and don't have anyone's address.
Whew! What a miracle we are here. Now we just have to leave the dock.
