Yes, it's true. We've toiled and sweated our way through five boats, and finally bought one! It's sitting at the eastern end of Lake Ontario--a 40 ft. steel cutter, essentially rust-free. Mark can hardly believe that part. It sleeps up to eight and we are very excited about the possibilities it opens up for us both as far as cruising ourselves, and taking friends/families, and paying participants sailing. But first we must get Amicus II to Two Harbors. She goes into the water on May 1 and we hope to be sailing her home by May 4 or 5, arriving home in early June if the weather cooperates. Stay tuned as we will surely be blogging the story as it happens!
